At Apogee West Slope, our mission is to empower families in Western Colorado by cultivating strong character, critical thinking, and personal responsibility in the next generation. Through learner-driven education, physical and mental resilience training, and meaningful family engagement, we aim to build a community rooted in truth, freedom, and purpose.

OUR WHY

We started Apogee West Slope because we believe children deserve more than busywork, test prep, and screen time—they deserve to become capable, confident, and curious human beings. This school grew out of a deep desire to help young people take ownership of their lives by building real-world skills, strong character, and the ability to think critically.

My journey started on the mats, teaching kids Jiu Jitsu, where I saw firsthand how grit, discipline, and encouragement can transform a child’s confidence. Becoming a father only sharpened that conviction. I wanted something different for my own children—something meaningful, challenging, and rooted in purpose. Apogee is that vision brought to life.

And yes, we’re proud to do it here on the Western Slope—because

“West Slope, Best Slope” isn’t just a saying.

It’s a promise we’re making to the next generation.
